Introduction
Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College - Teacher's Training Nawalgarh was started in the year 2004 by the Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh registered under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act. 1959. The trust was established in the year 1921. Mahatma Gandhi, the father of Nation was founder trustee chairman of the trust and the other trustees were Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Seth Jamana Lal Bajaj and Seth Anandilal Podar.

The trust established 'Brahmacharyashram' in the year 1922 which was elevated to High School in 1928, Intermediate College in 1942, Degree College in 1945 and P.G. College in 1947.

The Teacher's Training College is located in Ramniranjan Bhawan of the Podar Educational Complex on the Rambilas Podar Road, the main road of the town Nawalgarh.
Government Recognition

College is recognized by the Govt. of Rajasthan vide letter No. P.10 (1) Edu.1/ 2006 and put at serial number 0231 in the list of recognized B.Ed. Colleges. The college is complying with the revised norms and standard and other conditions prescribed by the NCTE.
